WEEKEND QUICKIE

The assignment was to attract younger (20-something) travelers from the Chicago area to visit St. Louis for a quick weekend getaway. Our solution was to engage them on their terms with a playful, tongue-in-cheek campaign that positioned St. Louis as a sure thing.

 

Transit ads directed people to WeekendQuickie.com to discover how attractive St. Louis is, and tell us what they’re looking for in a weekend-only relationship.  A Tinder-inspired mobile app allowed users to browse dozens of St. Louis attractions and build their weekend quickie itinerary on the spot. Swiping right marked the attractions they liked, while swiping left eliminated the attractions they weren’t interested in.

 

With their list of attractions stored in their “hookups” queue, users could learn about each attraction and book a ”date” to St. Louis for the weekend. Additionally, flirty messages from each attraction kept the conversation going on social, and kept users entertained and engaged.
